Roots Of Now

Although I had had my mind blown by exposure to essential Kraftwerk albums years earlier, this track destroyed my ears.

I was absolutely obsessed with "Pop Muzik". Back in the days of vinyl there was no "repeat" button to push, so I had to lift the needle again and again to bring joy to my mind.

There is something about the obvious catchiness of the riff mixed with the detached vocals that set a blueprint for less-popular, but equally beautiful music to come years later.
